Laser dentistry uses precise light energy in place of, or alongside, conventional instruments. Dr. Zarifeh holds an MSc in Laser Dentistry from RWTH Aachen University, Germany, and applies Erbium laser protocols to implant surgery, gum surgery and gummy-smile correction — meaning less bleeding, a sterile surgical field, less swelling and faster healing. It also allows many medically complex patients, such as cardiac patients on anticoagulants, to be treated without interrupting their medication in many cases.
